For at least the time being, has the window shut on Vic? He had a great run, two finals games. They really blew the chance to win a title last year, having a 12 point lead and the ball in the second half. South Carolina is going to be better. Tennessee will be more competitive so the conference may get better.

Indeed, I think his window has started to narrow, perhaps close. Let's see what recruits and transfers he gets. He is more a defensive coach, a la Staley, than a 2-way coach like Auriemma....eh, most coaches are 1-way, like Muffet and Walz are offensive coaches, etc.

Miss St is definitely on the radar now as an elite team...holding that spot is tough..look at South Farolina’s rise and fall...or a while back, Maryland or Duke’s ...Oregon and Oregon State are rising powers...ND andy UConn seem stable at the top, as does Baylor.
