The local news is reporting that UT men's coach, Rick Barnes, will turn down UCLA and stay with a big raise. And the Lady Vols will be led by Kelly Jolley Harper. Staying in the family.

Native one: no words on transfers yet. Westbrook has entered the portal. But that does not mean that she has to go. I am sure they are reaching out to her. She took some hits here for throwing the staff under the bus and might view a fresh start as good. She could transfer to ND and then ND could claim hardship and they had to have her immediately. Westbrook is from Oregon and with two good teams up there, she might opt to move closer to home.

If she went home, both Oregon and ORSU could have a slot for her post-sit out season. Why do you think she would go to ND other than bare cupboard aspect?

I was joking about ND pulling a Shephard and claiming they have no one to play next year. I expect her to go out West or stay if she hears the right things from Jolly.

Oh. True, she could wait and see if Kelly promises the Orange Champion World to her, and whether she wonders how often do I, Evina, get the same BS? Kelly has to look a lot like the Holly #2 template. Then the parents may weigh in and they're older and less prone to BS and Rocky Mountain Top rocks and rolls, because if Evina wants into the WNBA, another two mediocre seasons at Tenn will drop her ability (forget the 1st round vs. 2nd round) to play at next level, as she will not at all be developed since high school days. WNBA is noticing the past ten years of Tenn graduates are more like Mercedes and Cierra, than Parker and Johnson. The brand is already devalued in the eyes of WNBA GMs it seems.
