One day a year I root for Tennessee. One night every few years I root for Baylor. Like tonight. Thought for sure they would lose the lead and they did, but they held on. Go Baylor. Muffett can win every 18 years or so. 17 more to go.

Whew is the word! Lauren Cox, what a performance. Great going, Baylor.

Delighted Arike missed the key free throw and missed another late in the game as did Jessica. Brown 0-5 on FTs. ND really luck to have Cox go out.

Time to begin planning for next year. I'm hoping there is at least one game nearby.

I think it's crazy games like this can be won by 1 point. Not when you only play one game. Some sports don't allow that...tennis, volleyball. There should be a better way.

But those games go to 15 or 21. This one was in the 80s

I gained a whole new respect for Lauren Cox. What a tough, classy young lady.

If Cox stayed healthy, this is another double-digit loss in the Finals or Semis.
