I like the heading of the Yahoo article better than the ESPN one. "Iowa's Final Four win vs. UConn draws 14.2 million viewers for most-watched ESPN basketball game ever" at least gives credit to both participants for setting the record. The ESPN article is titled "Iowa again draws record ratings in Final Four win over UConn" and suggests that Iowa deserves most of the credit for the record crowd...with UConn just happening to be its opponent! Yes....I am that petty when my team gets screwed by a ref call that most non-Iowans would admit should not have been made. www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/39889095/iowa-again-draws-record-ratings-final-four-win-uconn

A third, my preferred choice for pure journalism, is AP's traditional succinct headline: "Iowa-UConn women’s Final Four semifinal most-watched hoops game in ESPN history; 14.2M avg. viewers" apnews.com/article/final-four-ratings-uconn-iowa-clark-7ac76c353a0d1c2ed7f45c46a91b5ac5The lede: BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) — Iowa’s 71-69 victory over UConn at the women’s Final Four on Friday night averaged 14.2 million viewers on ESPN, making it the most-viewed women’s basketball game on record and the largest audience for an ESPN basketball broadcast. (no unnecessary words)

I can't re-watch that game. Just thinking about that foul call at the end makes me mad. I don't want to ever see it again! Such BS!
