I get it the LSU program and coach Mulkey took a lot of heat this season. Angel Reese took on the persona of being a villain in women’s basketball just like Coach Bellichick and his persona wasn’t liked by many. What’s a better feel good story? LSU losing to Iowa or UCONN heading back to the final four? I’ll say this, I’m happy to be a UCONN fan!!!!!!12!!!!!!

Mulkey and Reese can't be brash and outspoken and then whine when people chafe at that. Sure, there are lots of people who actually like such an in-your-face attitude but I think there are way more people who respect a little humility and grace. But you know why I really have no sympathy for Reese? It is because she refuses to change. She whines about how she is treated and yet she sees no need whatsoever to change the way she acts. So go ahead Reese...continue to act like an asshole...which ensures a lot of people will treat you like one...which you can then cry crocodile tears about...but still cling to your boorish behavior...and do so "unapologetically"! I have to acknowledge though....I see very little difference between Kim Mulkey and Danny Hurley. Hurley is equally as pugnacious as Mulkey. If I were not a UConn fan, I would probably hate the guy's guts. Maybe that is what it takes to win nattys in the modern era. You have to have a take-no-prisoners coach who speaks their mind and demands authoritarian-level control over their program...and players.

Everybody's different. It's a question of what we want to accomplish and how we talk about it.
Kim likes attention. It shows in her wardrobe, sideline behavior and interviews, although there are times she returns to reason.
I'm a UConn fan mainly because of the team approach to the game, primarily my connection with Geno's accomplishments and how he talks about it. Someone said he teared up after the game. I thought he showed it in the clip where he was surrounded by the team and did a little dance.
Here in the Missouri sticks the philosophy is we'd rather see you do it than hear you talk about it. UConn does it. So does my local school, NWMSU (DII) where the women finished #15 on Massey up from #44 last year and the men at #3 this year, #2 last year and #1 2010-22 thanks to coach Ben McCollum, our Dan Hurley, who's been here more than 10 years and is moving on to Drake in Des Moines, #51 in DI.
Considering what UConn has accomplished this year statues should be erected, songs sung, streets opened for dancing and yet, listening to Geno it's what UConn had to do.
Aaliyah's sentiment is a clue, "We're not finished." According to Massey Iowa has the #1 offense and UConn the #4. Also, Iowa has the #109 defense and UConn #3. The Power ratings are UConn #2 and Iowa #3. It's going to be an instructive game.
