Something is very wrong if this game is not a complete yawner just like last month's matchup with DePaul. In fact, the rest of the regular season and the BE tournament should feature much of the same. The next threat of a loss I am expecting for this team is in the Sweet 16.

Thanks for the boost, Russ, I'm ready. Massey has it #2 UConn (thanks to the Iowa and Stanford losses) beating #101 DePaul 85-65 which may be close to the final depending on how much Geno plays Ice and Q.
Their only big is 6-3 and plays 11 mpg. Aaliyah could have a big day.

Here I am late but here.
There were a bunch of losses in the top ten this weekend. The polls should be interesting as we get closer to the conference tourneys.

Today UConn is #15/13 in AP/Coaches, also #2 in Massey/Sonny Moore/NCAA NET/Her Hoop Stats and #3 in RealTimeRPI (before the Stanford loss) Also today's losses include #10 K State, #7 USC, #9 Oregon State and #6 NC State (all ranked above UConn. Tomorrow's AP rankings and whenever Coaches is posted will be interesting.

If we’ve learned anything it’s anyone can get beaten on any given night. I’m expecting tons of upsets in the tourneys and the big dance clearing a path for our Huskies. We all know if we were healthy, really healthy, we would be the team everyone would be trying to beat. I like our chances in the big dance.

I'm waiting for US to show that we can beat anybody on nay given night. We've blown five chances to do that so far this year. Those five losses would represent the most of any UConn National Championship team in Geno's long tenure. Accordingly, I cannot share your optimism about the tourney. I don't like our chances at all based on what I've seen when we face ranked teams out of conference. All of those games are likely to be played away from home too...where we have been very vulnerable to ranked teams.

I think our (Huskies) biggest weakness or defect is guarding against the three point shot. That will always get us in trouble if the opponent is making them. We do have the shooters to take us deep into the tourney and that’s what I’m hoping. I’m not sitting back waiting on our injured to return. Gino has done incredibly well keeping UCONN competitive over the last few years considering all that talent that is sitting on the bench unable to play. Why do you think Buckets is returning? To hang another banner in PV. Go Huskies!!!!
