We are still ranked 7th but UConn got I believe 38 more points than last week.so there was not a lot of believers out there last week . We had to be getting at best last 8th and 9th place votes. UConn is still 15 points away from an unanimous 7th. Texas in 9th looks like solid points for 9th. Michigan is 10th But they had to get 9th place votes or higher . Texas is the one that baffles me . They have had some ugly losses .

I have slightly less respect for the NCAAW Committee. It used to be 2 on a scale from 1-10, with 1 being no respect and 10 being total respect.

And it looks like UConn is going to be sent away. It is incredible to think that they do not get some dispensation for playing almost the entire season without THE NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR. There is still time for a few upsets in the conference tournaments.
Or maybe a team ranked ahead of UConn, let's call them Iowa State, loses by 25 points at home.

The Committee have lost their mind and want to see lower audience in multiple Regions. They have fallen for Muffet McGraw's dubious, baseless, and flat out wrong accusations that UConn gets all the breaks, so UConn must now be punished. Send them to the Ukrainian Regional as a #4-seed.
Indeed, the early round upsets in the Tourneys such as Tenn, Indiana, UM, ISU, AZ and perhaps LSU could change the seedings outlandishly proposed by the NCAAW Committee. Not that facts seem to influence their odd judgements to date.

Rich Iowa state now has two 25 point losses and a 26 point loss . Not to mention an 18 point loss and their star only missed one of those games Lost 5 games with a margin of 20.6 UConn lost 5 games with a Margin of 10.4 points .

It makes no sense the way some of the teams have respect and others don’t. It is ridiculous that a team lose by 25 3 times ( two times at full strength and is a 2 seed and they also lost by 18. How is that justified to not fall in the polls. In the ap poll UConn is ranked ahead of both Iowa state and Michigan ( both 2’s.

Baylor clobbered Iowa State by 25 NC State beat VA Tech by 2 Iowa beat Michian by 24 and my favorite (not big in the reveal) Mizzou beat Flroida by 5.
It's always a good time for the Serenity Prayer.
Stay tuned... more to come.

Part of what is weird is that the computer systems do not take injuries into account. So they presumably are under ranking the Huskies. And yet they have them ranked higher than Charlie creme and the NCAA. That is weird.

While this may be socially inappropriate, Charlie Creme strikes me as someone more interested in celebrity than credibility. I watched part of the halftime program during the Baylor/Iowa State game. He is, however, very good at what we call "talking around a knothole."

Only problem is they act like because of their blatant stupidity snd bias towards UConn to ignore the injuries that UConn had. Even the South Carolina game was skewed . Fudd and muhl both played injuried. And Caroline did not even get into game.

All valid points but I don't believe anyone can beat the Huskies at the dance, no matter where we are placed. In fact, I rather we play with a chip on our shoulder and play elsewhere. I look forward to the joy that comes from winning the NC after being disrespected and marginalized for circumstances out of our control. When all is said and done, this will be the journey that truly defines this Program and its culture.

When all is said and done, this will be the journey that truly defines this Program and its culture. A line I like is, "What others think of me is none of my business unless I am being hurtful." The successful, especially those who transcend difficulties, attract critics most of whom are spectators, not participants. The distinction between winners and losers id often insignificant; however, those who refuse to participate and still criticize are losers. They are missing the best part.
Also, the UConn WCBB schedule page has been unavailable frequently of late: uconnhuskies.com/sports/womens-basketball/schedule
